What types of events do you plan?
While weddings are our specialty, we also plan elopements, vow renewals, bridal showers, milestone celebrations, birthdays, corporate events, and intimate gatherings. If it is worth celebrating, we are here for it!
What is the difference between a planner, a coordinator, and a venue coordinator?
Planner: Manages and helps you work out the details for your event, including budgeting, vendor selection, design, logistics, and timelines. They are your strategic partner every step of the way.
Coordinator: Focuses on the logistics leading up to and on the day of your event. They ensure your plans are executed smoothly. Month-Of or Day-Of Coordination falls into this category. A Coordinator does not help you book vendors.
Venue Coordinator: Typically employed by your venue, they oversee the space and venue staff. They handle venue-specific rules, setup, and vendor coordination within the venue but do not manage your overall event plans or your vision for the day.
How far in advance should I book your services?
Weddings: 8 to 16 months in advance for full planning and at least 6 months for partial or Month-Of Coordination.
Parties and Events: 3 to 6 months in advance is usually sufficient depending on size and complexity.
Last-minute bookings: We sometimes have availability, so it never hurts to ask!

We work with a wide range of venues across Oahu, including private estates, beachfront properties, boutique hotels, local event spaces, and backyard celebrations. Whether your vision includes ocean views, lush gardens, or something completely unique, we can adapt to different settings and create a seamless experience.

Can you help with vendor selection?
Yes! We love helping our clients build the perfect vendor team. We provide personalized recommendations based on your style, budget, and priorities for photographers, florists, caterers, and more.
Already have vendors? We are happy to collaborate with them.
Do you offer planning for non-traditional or cultural events?
Yes! We celebrate all backgrounds and can help incorporate meaningful traditions, cultural elements, or unique formats into your celebration.
We are doing a lot of the planning ourselves. Can you still help?
Yes! We offer coordination packages, timeline creation, and à la carte services to support you wherever you need it. You can handle what you want and trust us with the rest.
I am planning from out of state. Can you still help?
Yes! We frequently work with couples and clients planning from the mainland or abroad. We will guide you through every step remotely and manage on-island logistics for a smooth experience.
Do you offer services outside of Oahu?
Yes! We are happy to travel to neighbor islands or other destinations for an additional fee. Share your location with us and we will work out the details!
How involved are you on the day of the event?
We tailor our involvement to your needs. You can choose full support managing vendors and timelines or a more behind-the-scenes approach for peace of mind.
How many people are on the Ginger Bloom team?
While Hannah and Cat are the faces of Ginger Bloom, we have a trusted network of experienced team members and event assistants depending on the size and scope of your event. You will always have the right support.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
A non-refundable retainer fee is required to reserve your date, but it can be transferred (subject to availability) to another event within 12 months. All payments made to Ginger Bloom Collection LLC are non-refundable. Each contract will outline cancellation fees (if any).
